DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNIQUE TO BE APPLIED

- How it is done: Using a dermograph, needle and ink, we introduce the pigment into the skin.

- Materials used and their characteristics: Dermograph with 3.7 mm stroke, organic black ink, needles or cartridges with sterile and single-use surgical steel needles, liquid soap and paper.
- Effects that the application of the technique may have: Depending on the duration of the tattoo, it may cause pain and skin irritation.
- Risks that the application of the technique may have: Allergies, risk of infection of the treated area if our recommendations are not followed.
- Hygienic-sanitary measures to adopt in the application of the technique: Hand washing, use of sterile gloves, sterile single-use material, in the case of needles that will be disregarded in the presence of the user as well as the elimination of excess . Non-sterile and single use, protection systems such as paper, stretcher, fields to cover the table, overalls, mask, cover for the machine and film for the cans, or any device we use will be changed after contamination with blood and other substances before a new intervention. Cleaning the room after each work will be done with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
DESCRIPTION OF STERILIZATION AND DISINFECTION METHODS USED

- Sterilization methods: Steam autoclave sterilization.
- Maintenance type: Periodicity.
- 50 cycles: Cleaning the door gasket, chamber, trays and support, filter inside the chamber and inside the water tank.
- 200 cycles: Change of bacteriological filter and cleaning of the water tank.
- Cleaning and disinfection methods:
- Instrument cleaning: Ethyl alcohol 70% for 30m.
- Cleaning electrical instruments: Isopropyl alcohol 70%
- Room cleaning: Sanitol.
TATTOO AND/OR MICROPIGMENTATION TECHNIQUES USED
TATTOO: The tattoo technique is the procedure of body decoration by introducing coloring pigments into the skin through punctures. Made with demographic machinery, stainless steel tools, needles, ink holders and other material, sterile and disposable, packaged and sealed until use. The inks used comply with the provisions of the Second Additional Provision of Royal Decree 1599/1997, of October 17, on cosmetic products, and have their corresponding health registration from the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products. The inks used in the session are placed in sterile, single-use containers and discarded later.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE APPLICATOR PERSON
- Qualification or training: Courses in dermography and seminars on tattoos, micropigmentation and piercing since 2003. Sanitary hygiene certificate renewed every 5 years

RISKS
Like any invasive technique, there are risks. Whenever cuts or punctures are performed that lead to an open and bleeding wound, there are risks of local infections and contagion of diseases such as hepatitis, syphilis, HIV, among others, all of which are easy to prevent by maintaining minimal rules of hygiene and sterilization.
INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO APPLICATION
If you are taking any medication, consult your doctor before starting the technique to be performed.
- Do not sunbathe or UVA rays
- Do not take stimulants such as tea, coffee, soft drinks with caffeine or theine, or substances with stimulant components.
- Do not take alcohol, vasodilators or anticoagulants.
- Do not eat seafood, strong or spicy foods.

GENERAL CARE AFTER THE TECHNIQUE PERFORMED
TATTOO: After two hours, remove the bandage and wash it with clean hands with water and neutral soap, then dry it with cellulose paper. Apply a thin layer of ointment (Bepanthol) until it is completely absorbed by the skin. Cover it with transparent film for the first 24 hours, washing and moisturizing it two or three more times. It will then be kept in the air, washing it once a day while the ointment, always with clean hands, will be applied several times a day and for at least two weeks. Do not expose it to the sun or UV rays, do not apply cologne, hydrogen peroxide, betadine or alcohol, do not bathe in water with chlorine or salt, nor in rivers, swamps or similar and do not wear clothing that may release lint, squeeze or rub the tattoo during its healing. In case of possible regret, there are reversibility options, either by laser or by removal of the affected skin, all of which must be carried out in specialized clinics.
